Advertised versus displayed
The official Fake an Egg icon promotes offline mutations. That is an advertisement on the icon, reviewed with the experience art. It does not name the mutations, state a duration, list odds, or give a cash multiplier. Fuse stages are not established either.
The introduction video shows three prefixes and does not show their formulas:
| Label | Where it appears | What is missing |
|---|---|---|
| RAINBOW | On the cat at 1:00 | The income is covered; no multiplier |
| GOLD | On a Chicken Egg at 2:40 | No multiplier, odds, or price |
| DIAMOND | On a Chicken Egg at 2:40 | No multiplier, odds, or price |
Keep a prefix attached to the object you saw. RAINBOW on a pet and GOLD on an egg are not evidence that every prefix is the same system, or that either prefix is the offline-mutation feature. Records: RAINBOW, GOLD, DIAMOND, Offline mutations.
Test one change
- Before you buy or apply anything, copy the pet or egg label, the displayed rate, active boosts, and the date.
- Change one thing. A new pet plus a new boost plus a new prefix cannot tell you which one moved the rate.
- Read the new label and rate from the same panel. Note anything that changed without your action, such as an event message.
- If you cannot repeat the pair, call the result provisional and keep the raw numbers.
Enter a multiplier in the payback calculator only when you know the base it applies to. A rate that already includes the prefix should use no extra multiplier. There is no installed mutation formula on this site, because no multiplier has been verified.
Offline intervals
If you want to see what offline progress does, write four things: logout time, return time, the state you left, and the state you came back to. One return does not establish a rate or a probability. Do not fill the gap with a duration from another egg game.
A multiplier copied from Steal an Egg, or from any other experience, is not a Fake an Egg stat even when the word Rainbow looks familiar.
